JUST OPEN DIN FREE MAGAZINE
It’s unlikely for creative people to allow any scene to pass their eyes without analyzing it. No matter what your chosen career is, it’s worthwhile to fill your day with the freedom to think. Free magazine is one of the sources for collecting information and new ideas, and present to readers to discover solutions on such topics as relaxing, working, or lifestyle. Although these days there are plenty of free magazines in various categories to choose from, there’s only a few focusing on people who embrace creative ideas.
DIN (Design Inspiring Node) is a new free magazine which has emerged from the cooperation between Lizenn Publishing and Tank Design and Production, the enthusiastic team who share the common goal to produce the first free magazine in Thailand aimed at the lifestyle theme with the tone of architectural topics. The content reflects social issues related to everyday life style such as eating, sleeping, shopping, and traveling, and maintains to provide useful information and an insight to the design career. Each issue is comprised of 16 columns covering different types of art and design that can be an inspiring hub to assist readers to top up on their own ideas. DIN is published in Thai and English to reach readers thoroughly and it is the way to update oneself as to the current movement in Thailand’s architectural industry.
DIN is published by Lizenn, a publisher who has vast experience in architectural publication, and DIN not only provides information for architects but also interior designers, contemporary artists, thinkers, writers and also property developers.
In 2012, DIN will be launched in April, June, September and December and distributed at architecture and interior firms, property development companies,construction and decoration stores, lifestyle department stores, and the faculty of architecture and other type of creative and design.
การออกแบบคือหนึ่งในศาสตร์ของคนช่างคิดความสุขของหลายคนคือการที่ได้ทำงานแบบสร้างสรรค์และไม่ปล่อยให้ซีนที่ผ่านเข้าสมองออกไปเป็นแค่เพียงภาพที่มองเห็นเท่านั้น ไม่ว่าใครจะมีอาชีพอะไร อิสระของการได้ใช้ไอเดียกับสิ่งที่ตนรักคงเติมเต็มให้วันหนึ่งผ่านไปอย่างมีค่า ทุกวันนี้ฟรีแมกกาซีนถือเป็นแหล่งหนึ่งที่ช่วยรวบรวมข้อมูลและความคิดใหม่ๆ ให้ผู้อ่านค้นหาทางออกในแต่ละเรื่อง ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการพักผ่อน การทำงานหรือการใช้ชีวิต แม้ว่าปัจจุบันจะมีฟรีแมกกาซีนออกมาหลายเล่ม หลากสไตล์ แต่มีเพียงไม่กี่เล่มเท่านั้นที่มุ่งเน้นเพื่อคนที่รักไอเดียสร้างสรรค์
DIN (Design Inspiring Node) ฟรีแมกกาซีนเล่มใหม่ที่ต้องการเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของความคิดสร้างสรรค์ในแต่ละวันของผู้อ่าน DIN เกิดจากการรวมตัวกันระหว่างสำนักพิมพ์ลายเส้นและ Tank Design and Production คณะทำงานกลุ่มเล็กๆ ที่มีแรงผลักดันจากความต้องการที่จะทำฟรีแมกกาซีนแนวไลฟ์สไตล์เชิงสถาปัตยกรรมเล่มแรกในประเทศไทย โดยมีการนำเสนอสาระในแง่มุมที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่องานออกแบบมีเนื้อหาสะท้อนสังคมให้แง่คิดและอ่านได้อย่างสบายๆ ผ่านเรื่องง่ายๆ ในชีวิตประจำวันตั้งแต่การกิน เที่ยว ช้อปปิ้ง หรือ แม้กระทั่งการนอน โดยแต่ละฉบับจะมีทั้งหมด 16 คอลัมน์ที่สอดคล้องกับ theme ที่นำเสนอและมีเนื้อหาครอบคลุมในแต่ละสาขาของการสร้างสรรค์ รวบรวมไว้เป็นแหล่งข้อมูลของแต่ละศาสตร์ที่สามารถช่วยต่อยอดให้กลายเป็นไอเดียใหม่ๆ ในการสร้างสรรค์งานของคุณ DIN จัดทำเป็น 2 ภาษาเพื่อเป็นการอัพเดทความเคลื่อนไหวของวงการสถาปัตยกรรมและงานออกแบบของไทยให้เป็นที่รับรู้ในวงกว้างและเกิดการหมุนเวียนทางธุรกิจ
ถึงแม้ว่า DIN จัดทำภายใต้สำนักพิมพ์ลายเส้น สำนักพิมพ์ที่มีประสบการณ์ตรงด้านสถาปัตยกรรม แต่ DIN ไม่ได้จัดพิมพ์เพื่อมุ่งเสนอเนื้อหาไปยังสถาปนิกเท่านั้น แต่ยังรวมไปถึงนักออกแบบ ศิลปินร่วมสมัย นักคิด นักเขียน อีกทั้งเพื่อเป็นสื่อกลางสำหรับผู้คนที่เกี่ยวข้องกับธุรกิจอสังหาริมทรัพย์อีกด้วย
ในปี 2555 นี้คุณสามารถพบกับ DIN ได้ทุกๆ 2 เดือน เริ่มตั้งแต่เดือนเมษายน, มิถุนายน, กันยายน ไปจน
ถึงธันวาคม โดยจะจัดวางตามออฟฟิศที่รับออกแบบสถาปัตยกรรมหรือตกแต่งภายใน, บริษัทที่เกี่ยวข้องกับอสังหาริมทรัพย์, ร้านจำหน่ายวัสดุก่อสร้างและตกแต่งภายใน, ศูนย์การค้าและแหล่งรวมไลฟ์สไตล์ชั้นนำ และคณะสถาปัตยกรรมและคณะเกี่ยวกับการออกแบบในแขนงต่างๆ ตามมหาวิทยาลัย
