7 WONDERS COLOR OF THE NATURE
Mother Nature has created many wonderful things that never cease to ‘wow’ us and fill us with amazement. We take this opportunity to bring a little something about the places where you should seen ‘once in a lifetime.
Cano Cristales is well known as the ‘five colors river’ and has another name: ‘The Liquid Rainbow.’ The river gets its special color from underwater plants like algae called macarania clavigera, which are different shades of yellow, blue, green, black, and red.

Grand Prismatic Hot spring in Yellowstone, National Park is the largest hot spring in America, and the third largest in the world. There are many different colors generated by the tiny minerals and microbes in each section. The blue part in the center is the area with the highest temperature.

The Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park : China
The Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park in China is a geological wonder. The deposition of sandstone and minerals over the course of 24 million years has created a wonderful array of colors while erosion from wind and rain has created a curved-shape along the range. In 2000, this wonder became a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Lake Hillier: Austalia
Located in the Recherche Archipelago islands west of Australia, this large salt lake is markedly different from most lakes around the world. Its pink color is a year-round phenomenon. While other pink lakes fade with the changing seasons, this one stays pink year after year, season after season. Scientist still argue over the cause of this and are always searching for new proof explaining why ‘the pink water remains.’

Eucalyptus Deglupta : Papua New Guinea
While many may be familiar with the name Mindanao Gum or Rainbow Eucalyptus, it appears both get their names from a special trunk that looks like someone had covered it with a mixed array of paint 200 meters high. These trees can only be found in countries like Papua New Guinea and the Philippines.
หลายคนอาจจะคุ้นชื่อ Rainbow Eucalyptus หรือ Mindanao Gum แต่ไม่ว่าจะเรียกว่าอะไร ก็ดูเหมือนว่าจะสมสะดุดตาสมชื่อ ความพิเศษคือ ลำต้นมีสีสดคละสี บางต้นสูงถึง 200 เมตร แถมยังพบได้เพียงประเทศแถบใกล้เส้นศูนย์สูตร ซึ่งปัจจุบันค้นพบที่ปาปัวร์นิวกินีและฟิลิปปินส์เท่านั้น

Pebble Shore Lake : United States
This is Lake McDonald located in Glacier National Park in the United States. Formed by a glacier, the water is so clear that you can see the bottom and gaze at the millions of pieces of candy-like rock aligning the bottom, a sight that has attracted many tourists over the years.

Cotton Castle gets its name from its oddly shaped landscape that is rich in carbonate materials. It is currently under consideration to become a World Heritage Site in order to prevent its destruction for hotel development and business.
